Hope for Henry Run a 5K to Make a Kid's Day
Sunday, May 14, 2017 - 8:30am
Come be part of the Annual Mother's Day Hope for Henry 5K to Make a Kid's Day.
Join over 500 runners on Sunday, May 14, 2017 at Walt Whitman High School in Bethesda, Maryland, for this 5K USATF certified, chip-timed course. All participants will receive medals and category winners will receive awards.
Little ones can participate too! We’ll have a 1-Mile Fun Run on the school track and a Kids Zone featuring family-friendly activities including inflatable bouncy houses, face painters, balloon maker, and arts and crafts activities.
As a participant, you can make a real difference.
You can participate by registering a race team, register to run as an individual or be an event sponsor.
Here are the ways you can support!
Ø Start or Join a Team and run with us on Race day.
Ø Ask family, friends, and colleagues to join you or donate to your page. You can send an email and use social media - once you register the site has all the tools you need.
Ø Can’t participate on Race day? You can still sign up as a virtual participant! Register and you’ll have your own personal fundraising page to support Hope for Henry.
Ø Don’t want to walk or run? We are always in need of volunteers.
Ø Share the race website with your family, friends, colleagues, or others who might be interested in joining us or donating to this amazing Mother’s Day celebration.
We hope you will consider setting a goal to raise a minimum of $250 in addition to your registration fee. Every dollar raised above the registration fee will directly benefit Hope for Henry Programs.
